Just like every other living organism created on this planet by God or some would argue a force beyond our imagination. There happens to be a humble plant out of over 300,000 plus species that has brought solace to mankind in many different ways. This plant has been suppressed by the so called Elite for decades because of its sustainable applications as fuel, edible oil, power, fiber, medicine, building material as you can see the list is endless…..
This plant is Hemp or Industrial Hemp as it’s called after the industrial revolution between 1700-1800.Technically, Hemp is a common name for plants of the entire genus Cannabis.
Did you just read Cannabis?
Yes, you just did!
Don’t look around to check if anyone’s peeping over your shoulder and staring at your screen. Even if they do, there is nothing to worry and we shall explain why…..
For decades cannabis has been used in our culture for various rituals veiled in legends and religion. So why did we develop this social stigma just like the westerners and whats the confusion all about?
Cannabis is the species name for the entire plant. There are several varieties of cannabis. The most important ones are cannabis sativa and cannabis indica.
Cannabis sativa is called Hemp or Industrial Hemp and has negligible amounts of THC and will never get you HIGH while its cousin Cannabis Indica is called marijuana or weed because of the higher side of THC used for recreational purposes.
So let’s get the obvious out of the way!
Cannabis Sativa or Hemp has many uses, including paper, textiles, edible oil biodegradable plastics, construction, health food, and fuel. It is one of the fastest growing bio masses known and one of the earliest domesticated plants known. It also runs parallel with the “Green Future” objectives that are becoming increasingly popular. Hemp requires little to no pesticides no herbicides controls erosion of the topsoil and produces oxygen.
Next time you hear about Hemp don’t shy away from it, instead embrace it!
